What We Do

Builders

We bring a systematic approach to constructing learning experiences that includes analysis of the audience, environment, objectives, content, technologies, etc. Planning maps, guides, templates, process documents, outlines, and storyboards, are all part of the way we approach projects.

Guides

We are consultants, technologists, trainers, and educators. Whatever instructional issues you may face, we can be right by your side to help.

Designers

We design instruction for quality learning experiences. At the heart of any course, it is often the alignment of objectives, activities and assessments.

Relationships

We are skilled at building relationships and rapport with the people whom we serve. There is the potential for a lot of emotion around what we do. We do care and embrace the Ignatian value of “Cura Personalis.”

Communicators and Collaborators

Communication is the first skill we master. Listening, speaking, writing and presenting are all important parts of our day-to-day. We are all in this together in the pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning!

Thinkers

We think about things. We brainstorm. We experiment. We look for new and better all the time. We think about
human psychology. We think about aesthetics, design, user experience, usability, flow, look/feel. We think about the different senses and how they come into play.

Explorers

We stay on top of the latest processes and skills related to Instructional Design and Instructional Technology. We communicate “best practices” in teaching and learning.

Project Managers

Project management frames how we think about work.

Problem Solvers

We have a knack for looking at an issue and using our detective skills to understand the heart of the issue.

Data Analysts

Research and data-based decision-making is part of what we do.

Evaluators

We design, develop and evaluate instructional content. Review and revision are essential for continuous improvement.

Experts

We are experts at creating engaging learning objects using a variety of technologies.
