Integrating Yellowdig Into Your Course
Participating faculty will be provided training in the use of
Yellowdig. An Instructional Designer and Technologist will
assist each faculty member in designing the impactful inclusion
of Yellowdig into their course(s). During the teaching terms,
faculty will have the opportunity to join a user community,
connect with one another to share insights, and ask Yellowdig
representatives questions directly.
Yellowdig's gameful learning design encourages learners to go
back to the community often and engage in thoughtful
conversation.
Course Relevance
Topics help to guide and shape the conversation by providing a
thoughtful way for learners to discuss course concepts and
connect them to the real world.
Instructor Presence
Instructors are a vital part of the community. They encourage
learner participation, set expectations, model conversations,
award accolades, and extend conversations.
Data Informed
Yellowdig provides valuable data to help instructors engage all
learners and analyze topic engagement, student participation,
and more.
